In Japan, O-Cha Pack pouches are the leading infusion pouches on the market. These handy pouches are great for making tea, tisanes, soup stocks, and more. Made of 100% polyester paper-like fabric, these pouches impart no unwanted flavor to your tea, and their generous size allows even the largest tea leaves and herbs to infuse freely. They will not melt in boiling water or stock, and they can be gently hand-washed and re-used several times (n.b. re-use is OK for home, not commercial or restaurant, use).
To use, take a pouch from the packet, place your tea or herbs into the opening of the pouch, and fold over the "cuff" to seal securely. Pop the pouch into your cup, mug, pot, or jar, and you are ready to infuse!

Although the manufacturer assumes one-time use, we have found, over many years of using these marvelous pouches, that gentle handwashing and air-drying enables one to re-use each pouch several times. Shake out your used tea leaves or herbs onto plants such as roses (which will be especially glad of the "instapost") before washing the pouches.
